Waiting Lists

Classes can be booked 2 weeks in advance and cancelled up to 2 hours before class without penalty. If a class is full, add yourself to the waitlist! We know waiting can be frustrating but you must trust the process, space almost always opens up. Once added to the waitlist you will be automatically put into class when there is a cancellation – this can happen up to 2 hour before class starts. Please plan ahead, if you cannot make it to class, remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid any registration fees.

Cancellation

Classes can be booked 2 weeks in advance and cancelled up to 2 hours before class without penalty. If you cancel after the 2 hour window members will be subject to a $5 cancellation fee. In the event of a no show (you do not come to class and did not cancel your reservation) members will be subject to a $10 no-show fee. Class card holders will forfeit their credits for late cancel and no-shows. All reservation and cancellation fees will be donated to Junglekeepers.

Be sure to enable your text and email notifications! This is how we communicate important happenings around the studio including information regarding the status of your reservation or memberships.

Payment & registration

Payment

All memberships require a valid credit card to be held on file. Monthly membership fees will be charged automatically on a 30 day billing cycle. Should your payment method fail, the membership will automatically freeze and you will be unable to book classes until your payment method is updated. Be sure to update your payment information when necssary to avoid any interruptions to your practice!

Memberships

Class Cards

Class cards are active on date of purchase and are valid for 3 months on 5 class card and 6 months for 10 class card. All class cards can be shared! Simply do so by booking a “guest” and using your class pack to reserve the spot. The class card holder does not need to be present with their guest for check in but all guests must create accounts in our system. All late/ no-show fees apliy to guest on members account.

Unlimited packages

Unlimited memberships are available for $139 (Standard Membership: Rentals not included) or $199 (Freedom Membership: Unlimited rentals included). All memberships are active from date of purchase and require a credit card to be held on file for billing purposes. Memberships auto-renew on a monthly basis and require 1 week’s notice of billing in order to cancel. Unlimited memberships include every class on our schedules with the exception of $10 Karma Classes, for which all proceeds are donated to charity. Unlimited memberships are eligible for suspension and travel passes to participating Modo Yoga studios. Request a suspension or travel pass through our Membership Services page.

Workshops

Pre-registration is required for workshops and students must cancel within 48 hours prior to the workshop. Workshop registration fees are not refundable, but if the student cancels more than 48 hours prior to the workshop, the workshop price will be credited to the student’s account for later use. Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter workshops more than 15 minutes after the beginning of the workshop. No refunds will be issued in this case.

Promotions

Periodically, promotions will be emailed to our students and/or advertised via social media. Typically these promotions are available for a short duration. Once the stated deadline for purchase is over, we are no longer able to honour the promotion.

Storage Onsite and Lost & Found

Modo Yoga Montréal does not provide space for students to store their personal belongings or their mat. We reserve the right to cut locks that have been left on lockers overnight. Modo Yoga Montréal is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings. Students concerned about their personal effects can secure them in a locker during their practice. Students are encouraged to bring their own locks, but we also have a limited quantity of locks to lend free of charge with keys or cell phones Unclaimed Lost & Found items are donated to charity after 15 days. If you have left something behind please leave a detailed email of the item and time you lost your belonging.
